Elbrus is the highest mountain in Russia and Europe. One of the summits in the elite program “7 Summits”. His altitude is 5642 meters above sea level, an old volcano, Elbrus mountain is great as the first climbing experience.

On a south face there is a well-developed infrastructure with ski lifts and hotels. Also we always use high-altitude mountain shelters with a heaters and kitchen: climbing experience has never been so comfortable as here. Also available gear rental service where you can get professional climbing equipment.

For climbing Elbrus mountain you don’t need a lot of climbing skills: the way to the summit is pretty easy. But Elbrus mountain is big enough, and 5642 meters is not a joke. That’s why our guides works only 1-3 person for one guide.

Terskol Observatory

Acclimatization day to Devichye Kosy Waterfall and Terskol Observatory. Height 3100. Descent to the village around 15.00−16.00 hours. Immediately after the descent, we go to rent and take high-altitude equipment. Night in a hotel.

Day 3

Mount Cheget (3100 м)

Acclimatization on Mount Cheget, altitude 3100. The ascent is simple, takes about 3-5 hours. In the middle of the climb there is a cafe Ai, where you can have a snack while admiring the view of Elbrus. Descent down on the chairlift. Return to the hotel at 15:00-16:00. Rest. Night in a hotel.

Day 2

PROGRAM

Meeting at Mineralnye Vody airport at 14:00, organized transfer to the hotel, check-in. In the evening briefing with the guides on climbing and equipment. Night in a hotel.

Extra day for bad weather conditions.

Day 8

Ascent

Summit push! Start around 20:00-21:00 at night. Departure by snowmobile at 1:00-3:00 at night depends on weather conditions. Way to summit 4-6 hours using snowmobile, 10-13 hours by walk. The descent down from the top to the shelter on foot is 4 hours, on a snowmobile 2-2.5 hours. Return to the shelter in the lunch area, descend down.

Rest

A rest day before the summit push.

Day 6

Acclimatization to the Pastukhov rocks or higher. Height 4800-5100. Return to the shelter.

Day 5

Acclimatization on Pastukhov rocks

National Park shelter

On the lift we move to the National Park shelter. We check in and go to the acclimatization till 4100-4200m. On the way we organize climbing lessons. Return to the shelter.
