Trekking around Annapurna is the hallmark of Nepal and the most beautiful trekking in the world.

This hiking route encircles the huge massifs of Annapurna, one of the 14 eight-thousand-meter mountains. The amazing nature and culture of the region will not leave anyone indifferent. After all, we have to cross jungles, highlands, coniferous and deodar forests, scree and even glaciers, while deeply immersed in the culture and atmosphere of Nepal and the Himalayas.

We will live in the place of the greatest yogi of Tibet, Milarepa, and visit his cave. We will also see Lake Tilicho — one of the highest mountain lakes in the world — and climb the Torong La pass 5,416 meters.

Annapurna CIRCUIT TREKKING

Milarepa Cave
Today the task is to visit the cave where the great yogi of Tibet Milarepa meditated. The trekking route passes through the Deodar (Himalayan cedars) forests, and comes directly to the Annapurna glacier. The spectacle is very powerful! You can sit near the cave for a while and take photos. After that, we’ll go back to the lodge.
Day 5
Upper Pisang → Braka
The crossing is not too long today, it is stunningly beautiful, and we will walk slowly because the altitude is above 3000 meters. Our goal for today is to get to the village of Brak, where we will spend the next few days for acclimatization and sightseeing. We come to the loggia after lunch, check in and have dinner.
Day 4
PROGRAM:
Today we are going to Kathmandu, the capital of Nepal. It is better to plan your arrival on morning flights, especially if you need to buy or rent some equipment.

A shuttle service will pick you up from the airport. Check in at the hotel and in the evening gather the whole group, where we will get acquainted, check the equipment and prepare for trekking.
Arrival in Kathmandu
Day 1
Kathmandu → Besisakhar → Chame
The main activity of today is to transfer your luggage from one transport to another on time. Today will be a long day: early in the morning we take our bus to the city of Besisakhar.

The entrance to the Annapurna Nature Park begins from this city, where we will show the necessary documents and get in jeeps. Then the rothe way will be quite extreme and will definitely be remembered as one of the most exciting adventures of the hike.
Day 2
Chame → Upper Pisang
The first walking day! There will be a short 5-hours walk today. We will go through villages with apple orchards, a lot of apple-trees really grow in these places. The Himalayan peaks will rise above us all day. The beautiful Annapurna II (7937 m) rises above the Piercing. We’ll spend the night in a lodge (guest house).
Day 3
Trekking to Ice Lake
This is a high-altitude lake with stunning views of the entire Annapurna massif. The trail is rather long but not difficult. Your efforts will be compensated by fascinating views! In addition, we will gain the necessary acclimatization before the Torong La Pass.
Day 6
Day of rest
Today we are having rest before the march to the Torong La Pass. It will be possible to walk around the neighboring village of Manang. This is the largest village in the area, there are many cafes with delicious pastries, shops where you can buy equipment, a pharmacy and even go to the cinema.
Day 7
Braka → Yak Kharka
Transfer to the village of Yak Kharka. At altitudes of more than 4000 meters, the harsh climate of the highlands is clearly felt – few creatures can survive here. And only yaks walk and chew dry thorns.
Day 8
Yak Kharka → Thorong La Base Camp
Thorong La Pass → Muktinath
Transfer to Pokhara
Transfer to the Thorong La Base Camp. Today is not an easy day, you need to gain about 800 m. The first part of the day is simple – not a steep path smoothly leads us to the small village of Torong Phedi. There are only a few lodges here and we will stop for rest and lunch. After that, we’ll continue on our way to the base camp.
Crossing the Thorong La pass 5,416 meters and descent to Muktinath. The key and hardest day of trekking around Annapurna. Wake up at 4 a.m., exit at 5. Before leaving, a light breakfast. It will be about -10 outside – it's cold, especially considering the lack of oxygen. Hands and feet will freeze the most. We wrap up ourselves warmer, turn on the flashlights and move out to storm the pass. We need to gain 550 meters of vertical. The trail is good, gentle, like climbing Elbrus from the south.

By noon, we’ll already descend to Muktinath. Either we will stay in Muktinath, or at the request and condition of the group move to Jomsom.
After an early breakfast, we drive from Muktinath or Jomsom to Pokhara by jeeps or by tourist bus. We’ll reach Pokhara at lunch time and there we can watch the town and relax.
Day 9
A day in Pokhara
Departure
We’ll stay 1 day in Pokhara because it's an amazing place where you would like to spend more time. We will relax on the shore of Lake Fewa, look at the stupa of the world, you can also fly a paraglider and get a lake trip by boat or catamaran. You will definitely remember this day. And in the evening we will gather to discuss our trekking and share impressions.

We say good bye to Nepal and its capital city. It is possible to leave from the morning.
